Boosting employees’ wellbeing brings a whole heap of benefits. It strengthens culture and improves productivity. It helps colleagues feel energised and ready to do their best at work.

Motivation through movement
When we buddy-up with others, it can be much easier to stay on track with fitness goals.
Having fitness partners can help to keep us focused. And when fitness includes any kind of movement that gets the heart pumping – well, we’ve got ourselves a great way to build camaraderie and stay motivated!
ConnectWell brings colleagues together to track progress and cheer each other on. There’s a healthy dose of competition, too – and everyone has the same chance to earn points and climb the leader board, no matter their fitness levels.
If it gets you moving, it gets you points – it all counts!
Earning points via a tracker, colleagues work towards monthly targets (set by the World Health Organization) by doing whatever exercise they choose – running, swimming, weights, cardio classes, or even just hanging out the washing or doing a bit of gardening.
Bringing colleagues together
ConnectWell is especially powerful in workplaces where people might not otherwise meet or connect with other employees.
With support from H&H, you can set up wellbeing challenges that build social bonds with anyone in the organisation – virtually or in person.
Then, using your internal communication channels, colleagues can track progress, share resources, and recognise colleagues’ achievements.
To get the most out of ConnectWell you can even prompt people to share pictures and videos from their walks, runs, gym sessions, or bike rides, and compile them into a highlights clip. That way, everyone can see the fun others are having – and just might feel compelled to conquer their FOMO and join in!
Not just for gym bunnies
ConnectWell is based around a simple MyZone fitness tracker that can be worn on the wrist, upper arm or around the chest.
Linking to an app, it tracks the user’s heartrate and records MyZone Effort Points – or MEPs – for exercise in the target heart rate zone over a period of time.
So the more effort made, the more points earned!
This means someone who can manage a few bicep curls or a daily walk to the park has as much chance to progress as a super-fit ultra-marathon veteran.

We have our own ConnectWell community at H&H. There’s no penalty for slacking off and missing our target for the month, but it’s far more fun if we’re all in the zone together, keeping each other motivated.
