Hannah's three ambitions are to invent and launch a product, retire to a villa with a vineyard in Italy and own a dog
Our Creative Director Hannah decided when she was seven years old that she wanted to be a designer, and she’s never lost sight of that ambition. She’s on a mission to take the Boring out of business communications - so it’s no surprise that she’s known for her brilliantly creative thinking. She’s also a strategic genius with a particular expertise in brand building. In her spare time, she’s a qualified silversmith, and loves the kind of extreme cycling that makes the rest of us feel faintly ill.
Helen thinks that you should never eat green cheese – a belief instilled early in her life
Our MD Helen’s brilliantly unusual combination of blue-chip FMCG marketing experience, and a Master’s degree in corporate coaching, means she’s our go-to People Strategy person. Her driving passion is to engage people in the workplace, and give them the tools to feel happy and fulfilled at work. She works with senior business leaders to articulate their vision and objectives, and then expresses this into meaningful and effective business strategy. Outside of work she enjoys Body Attack classes, and is a star of our local musical theatre group.

With a fondness for chocolate – dark in particular – Clare is H&H’s very own Willy Wonka!

She’s a strategic thinker, and an internal comms and engagement specialist – valuable assets for all of our IC programmes and projects. At some point in her life, Clare would love to own a large cocoa plantation – so she could produce all the dark chocolate she wanted!

Having spent 20 years all the way down in London, she couldn’t resist returning to her native East Yorkshire to become a part of the H&H family. She keeps the H&H cogs continually whirring like clockwork, making sure we’re always best placed internally to help all our clients with anything they need. In her spare time, she enjoys partaking in the buying and selling of designer goods and going to gigs, and she’d love to return to the States and explore more of what it has to offer.
Head of Creative
Our Jane loves the natural world, and her ambition is to create her own huge personal forest… and live in it
Jane is our Head of Creative, and it’s her job to guide the design team and keep the studio running smoothly. Jane puts her heart and soul into every project she takes on and her unwavering creativity breathes life into some of our most challenging projects. Her bubbly optimism also means she’s great at building strong relationships with our clients. In her spare time Jane loves to travel and take her dog Maya for walks – losing many tennis balls along the way.
Internal Comms Consultant
Our Laura is a proud mum of two, and when she’s not running around after her kids, she enjoys taking them to the local park and having play days on weekends
Laura is our Internal Comms Consultant, and one of our account managers. She’s passionate about how people communicate in the workplace, and is on a mission to get people engaged through the power of communication. Her role involves seeing the bigger picture of internal comms from all angles, and envisioning the best IC strategies for our clients. When she’s not playing with her kids, she can often be found playing musical instruments, and is a master of the piano, double bass, and clarinet.
A lover of all things fluffy and furry, Michelle’s favourite animal is the humble guinea pig but she aims to one day adopt a Parson Russell Terrier, and call it Stan

She makes sure the whole team always has what they need to achieve excellence, and holds the day-to-day running of the business together like cement, guaranteeing efficiency and effectiveness. A keen animal enthusiast, she’s been a vegetarian for over 20 years and proudly volunteers at the Hull Animal Welfare Centre – as well as spending time with her own guinea pig, Hamish!
Our Kirsty would love to travel down under to sunny Australia… and keep her own donkey
Kirsty is one of our Account Managers, and it’s her job to make sure we deliver all our projects on time as well as always keeping our clients smiling. Her friendly, approachable personality, and her 12 years of experience in customer service, means this is a breeze for her, and having an MBA to her name means she’s knowledgeable in everyday nitty-gritty business processes. Our Lewis has a keen sweet tooth, and is a big fan of most sugary treats (fizzy watermelon slices and skittles coming out on top!)
Lewis is our Illustrative Designer. His background in and passion for illustration has set the bar high for our design team. He dabbles in a bit of everything (infographics, storyboards, and branding to name just a few), and all his illustrations abound with exciting, vivacious character. In his spare time, Lewis enjoys ballroom and Latin dancing, and having achieved all his bronze medals, he’s working his way up to the gold.
Anne thinks the best cure for a bad day is to knock the living daylights out of a lump of dough.
Our researcher Anne has been a researcher for nigh on 20 years, and still loves the excitement of getting past the surface to really understand what’s going on in people’s minds. Because we often don’t say what we mean, or mean what we say, Anne’s an expert in figuring out what’s really going on and what that means for our clients. When she’s not unlocking the secrets in our heads, she loves growing her own veg, country walks…and baking bread.
As well as designing for H&H clients, Matt is a talented artist whose handiwork can be seen on gig posters and at vintage fairs

A keen all-round sportsman, Luke dabbles in climbing, surfing and snowboarding to name just a few… and never goes anywhere without his bike
Luke is our Conceptual Creative. His background in product design makes him best-placed to ensure that our brilliant designs have the legs to fulfil our clients’ briefs – so that when our designers run away with their ideas, they know they’re heading towards a viable and realistic finish line. In his spare time, Luke can usually be found racing towards another finish line on his trusty bike, whether it’s just around the block or all the way up the Alps.
Rosie would love to time-travel back to Victorian Britain (but only for a week!)

Away from work Rosie can be found screaming on Hull City, knee-deep in cake mixture, or wrapped up in craft ribbons.
